Together we walk Separately demonstrates how water can be used as an instrument to create simultaneous, embodied, and layered connections to distinct places, time, and their complex ecologies. Architectonic installations along the banks of the Rio Grande ask architecture to function as a condenser and filter for experience, creating a place for civic engagement with water as an essential and spiritual connector. Creating points of observational entry a conduit of perception heightening sensitivity and awareness to the interconnected elements of an environment.

Serial observations attempt to triangulate important and elemental qualities of water, sky, and earth and the ways that water can act as an orienting device to form essential and abiding connections across spatial time. These exercises involve layering, duration, connection to the seasons looking to uncover beauty and ritual of embodied experience of water.
